Commission Line V — The Wildcard Late 2027 Drop

BRAT “Jackrabbit”

The cult little all-wheel-drive mini-truck — grin-inducing, faintly absurd, and beloved out of all proportion to its size. We rebuild it for the pure joy of it.

The Character

Not every great car is serious. The Jackrabbit is the one you take when the drive matters more than the destination.

Let's be honest about what this is: the Subaru BRAT is a small, cheerful all-wheel-drive coupé-utility with rear-facing seats moulded straight into the cargo bed — a car that has never once pretended to be anything but fun. It is the wink in our collection. Where the Volvos and the Sonett are about restraint, the Jackrabbit is about the opposite: the pure, uncomplicated pleasure of a machine that makes everyone who sees it smile.

We take it just as seriously in the workshop as anything else we build — the same honest restoration, the same modern reliability underneath, the same documented care. We simply don't ask it to be dignified. A Jackrabbit is for the collector confident enough to own something joyful; the one car in the garage that isn't trying to prove a thing.

Built once, for one owner, and finished with a straight face — mostly. Like every RestoMod commission, its specification is retired at delivery.

Form Study

The shape that makes people smile.

The hero above is our commissioned concept render — the design direction, not a delivered car. The form studies below stay in the house grade until we photograph a finished commission.

Decided With the Owner

Yours to spec, ours to build — and yes, we'll keep the seats.

A Jackrabbit is a conversation, not a catalogue entry. The difference is that this one's allowed to be a little silly. Together we settle the details that make it yours.

The Commission Path

Five stages, each documented — same care, less ceremony.

I

The Consultation

A conversation about where the fun's going to happen — and how loud you'd like it to be about it.

II

Sourcing & Provenance

We find a structurally honest, documented donor BRAT — rarer than you'd think, since so many were used exactly as intended — and present its history first.

III

The Design Commission

Together we fix the specification — finish, trim, stance, and just how playful you'd like it to read.

IV

The Build

Honest restoration and re-engineering, photographed at every stage. Serious work; unserious car.

V

Delivery & Aftercare

Concierge handover, a bound provenance dossier, and an atelier that will happily admit this one was the most fun to build.

Begin a Commission

Commission a Jackrabbit.

Commissions are accepted selectively, in the order inquiries are received. Tell us a little about yourself and the car you have in mind, and the atelier will arrange a private consultation — no less serious for being the fun one.
