A Skerry is for the collector who already has the obvious cars — and wants the one almost no one else can name.
The SAAB Sonett is a small, fibreglass-bodied sports car built in Trollhättan in deliberately modest numbers — a connoisseur's rarity even when new. Its appeal was never brute pace; it was proportion, lightness, and the particular confidence of a design that answered to no one. A Skerry commission preserves exactly that: the low, sculptural body and the sense that the car was drawn rather than engineered.
Beneath the shape, we bring the driving experience up to modern expectations — refreshed driveline, braking, cooling, and electrics executed to the same standard as our Volvo commissions — so the Sonett's charm never depends on its temperament. The result is a rarity you can actually use, not merely admire under a cover.
Every Skerry is built once, for one owner. When the commission is delivered, its specification is retired and never repeated.
The brief at a glance
The silhouette we build toward.
The hero above is our commissioned concept render — the design direction we build toward, not a delivered car. The form studies below stay in the house grade until we photograph a finished commission.

Images are commissioned concept renders showing design direction — not photographs of a delivered car. Final commission photography replaces these on completion (SITE-7b).
Yours to specify, ours to execute.
A Skerry is a starting point for a conversation, not a catalogue entry. Together we fix the details only you will know to look for.
Five stages, each documented.
The Consultation
A private conversation about how you drive, where the car will live, and what it should say when it arrives.
Sourcing & Provenance
We locate a structurally honest, documented donor Sonett — a genuine challenge given its rarity — and present its full history before a panel is touched.
The Design Commission
Together we fix the specification — finish, materials, driveline character, and the details only you will know.
The Build
Bare-metal-honest restoration and re-engineering, photographed at every stage. You watch your car come into being.
Delivery & Aftercare
Concierge handover, a bound provenance dossier, and an ongoing relationship with the atelier that built your car.
Commission a Skerry.
Allocations for the Late 2027 Drop open by private invitation, and the earliest conversations are the first considered. Tell us about yourself and the car you have in mind, and the atelier will place you on the waitlist for a private consultation.
